CTE Health Science Anatomy LabStudents in Mr. Juan A. Celedon's Anatomy & Physiology course have spent the month of January learning about the complexities of the Cardiovascular system. To put all their learning together, students had the unique opportunity to dissect a pig's heart and get an up-close view of how such a vital organ can function. The dissection part of learning is an excellent way for students to truly appreciate how intricate the heart is, something a textbook or video cannot always portray. Anatomy and Physiology is a required course within the health science pathway in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.
