I have been teaching for 33 years. My first 4 years were as a Special Education teacher and for the last 29 years I have taught Kindergarten. I have been at Dr. Lonnie Green Elementary since it opened in 1999.
I have been with SFDRCISD for a total of 11 years. I have taught 1st-4th grade and 9th-12th grade for 8 years. I was an aide for 3 years before I became a teacher.

I have been with the school district for 17 years. I taught Kindergarten for one year, 1st grade bilingual for 13 years, and this is my third year as a 2nd grade bilingual teacher.

I started my career in 1997 teaching 4th grade at East Side Elementary. I worked there for 15 years until it was converted to a preschool in 2011. My last 4 years at East Side I taught 5th Grade Reading. I have been teaching 5th graders since my transfer to Lonnie Green in 2011. Currently, I'm on my 29th year as an educator.

I have been teaching for 4 and a half years, all at DLG. I've taught 2 years in second grade bilingual and 2 years in 5th grade. I love being a teacher because it allows me to make a difference in students' lives, witness their growth, help them succeed, and the reward of seeing students have a "light bulb moment" and grasp a new concept.
